Azerbaijan is a  country located at the crossroads of Eastern Europe and Western Asia, bordered by Russia to the north, Georgia to the northwest, and Iran to the south. An ancient civilisation rich in culture, and natural beauty, with diverse offerings of Ancient Temples, Fire Mountains and lush forests.

The country is also known for its traditional carpet weaving, its unique music and dance, and its delicious cuisine.

Azerbaijan’s capital city, Baku is a modern, vibrant and cosmopolitan city with a rich history and culture. It is home to a number of historic landmarks, such as the Maiden Tower and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, both of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. For those looking for a vibrant nightlife, Baku provides the same.

On our tour, we will visit must-see destinations such as the ancient Qobustan which is the home to the famous rock petroglyphs. The area has been inhabited since the 8th Millenium BC. It has Thousands of Rock engravings of hunters, ships, constellations and people  and is recognized by the UNESCO in the World Heritage List.

We will also visit the Ateshgah (Fire Worshippers Temple), based on Persian and Indian inscriptions and try to spot the similarities with the Fire Temples located in Mumbai and Gujarat.  The Yanardag – the Fire Mountain which has been blazing for thousands of years is something to behold. Do the Zorastrians consider the Fire as sacred after watching this spectacle ?

Azerbaijan is also home to a number of beautiful natural landscapes. The Tour includes a Cable Car Ride at the Tufandaq, and the shimmering waters of the Nohur Lake.

The best way to experience a region is by walking through a landscape and passing through villages that dot the same. We have organised a small trek in in the scenic district of Gabala which will take you right up to the 7 Beauty’s  waterfalls. Those interested in the wine gods, can also pay a visit to the Savalan ASPI Winery and carry one of their famous wines home.

Azerbaijan is a must-see destination for anyone interested in history, culture, and natural beauty. With its rich heritage, modern cities, and stunning landscapes, we promise that this experience and destination, will be your most memorable trips.
